Canceling subscription vs. deleting account

Section titled “Canceling subscription vs. deleting account”

This trips a lot of people up. Here’s the difference:

AspectCancel subscriptionDelete account
AccountStaysDeleted
Study recordStaysDeleted
Coming backRe-subscribe any timeStart over with a new account
MembershipActive until expirationGone immediately

“I just don’t want to keep paying” → just cancel the subscription (don’t delete). You can keep using the free version.

If you delete and immediately think “wait, I made a mistake,” recovery is very hard. Please think it through.
