Saving 💾

RedKiwi has 4 types of bookmarks. Here’s where each one is saved and where to find it again.

While studying, tap and hold a word, then choose “Save.”

Library tab → Words section

  • The Home tab only shows a preview
  • Tap “View saved words” for the full list

After you finish a sentence, tap the bookmark button.

“If you see a useful expression, bookmark the sentence. You can review it in the Library tab.”

Library tab → Expressions section

  • Home only shows a preview
  • “View my expressions” opens the full list
  • Sorted most recent first

Tap the like / save button on the commentary popup that appears in a video.

Library tab → AI Coach section

  • Home only shows a preview
  • Tap “View saved messages” for the full list

Commentary is a native speaker’s notes on an expression: grammar points, cultural context, and so on. It’s surfaced while you study, and you can like / save it to keep it.

On a content card, tap the heart icon or open the right-side menu and choose “Add to My list.”

Confirmation:

“Video has been successfully added to My list. You can find the saved video in Library and Home.”

  • Home tab’s “My list” section (preview)
  • Library tab’s “My list” section (full list)
  • My list = videos you haven’t started, but want to come back to
  • In-progress videos = videos you exited mid-way (recorded automatically)

On the weekend, open your Library tab and:

  1. Mistake Review — re-do a sentence or two you got wrong
  2. The latest 5 in Expressions — try to recall them in context
  3. Words — look up just the ones you’re not sure about

These three steps go a long way.

If you save every word, your Library gets cluttered and you stop opening it. Save only the things that really matter, and let the rest accumulate naturally in the Library word list.

  • ❌ Sentences that are just “grammatically correct”
  • ✅ Expressions you actually want to use
  • ✅ Anything with an unusual nuance worth remembering
